Mentioned below are the products that we have been providing to our clients since July 2013:

1. MUSHARAKAH – Profit & Loss Sharing

Asasah is the first microfinance institution who has introduced Musharakah for entrepreneurs both men and women. We are investing Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 200,000 in running businesses, thereby sharing both profit and loss based on the pre-decided profit and loss ratios. This partnership can be from a period of 30 to 180 days.

2. MURABAHA – Asset Based Financing

Asasah is offering to buy business assets worth Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 50,000 for people (men or women) running small sized businesses. The organization is acting as an agent, purchasing business assets and selling them to the member for a period of 3 - 6 months, on credit. Murabaha is offered for seasonal and non seasonal businesses.

3. QARZ-E-HASNA – Interest Free Loan

Qarz-e-Hasna (loan without any additional charges) is offered to destitute, widows and orphans. Households whose PPI score is higher than 40% are considered vulnerable by Asasah and we offer financial support to them. The amount of Qarz-e-Hasna to both men and women is Rs 10,000, which is returnable in 3 to 6 months time.

4. INTEREST FREE LOAN FOR FOOD SECURITY PROGRAM

Asasah has launched a very unique Microfinance product for consumption purpose which is offered to meet household expenses. The purpose is to provide Food security to the poor households. Here the food items are provided in the form of a package to the families without any additional cost. The amount ranges from 18,000 to Rs 72,000 in the form of food stuff for a period of one year. This product is primarily for the daily wage or weekly wage workers and is returned in the form of weekly installment.
